DISC Personality Profiling

Discover the power of DISC personality profiling – a simple, proven framework that helps you understand how you and others think, communicate, and behave at work.

Whether you’re a new manager, an experienced leader, or part of a wider team, DISC gives you the insights you need to build stronger relationships, improve communication, and create more effective teams.

📩 You can add a DISC profile to any of our Leadership, Communication, or Sales courses – or request individual and team reports directly.

What is DISC?

DISC is a behavioural model that explains how people prefer to act and communicate.

It analyses patterns of communication, leadership, and teamwork preferences, represented by four colour profiles: Dominance (Red), Influence (Yellow), Steadiness (Green), and Compliance (Blue).

It is built from the work of psychologists William Moulton Marston and Carl Jung.

CONCIENTIOUSNESS

  • DDominance – Direct, decisive, results-driven.

  • IInfluence – Outgoing, enthusiastic, persuasive.

  • SSteadiness – Patient, reliable, cooperative.

  • CConscientiousness – Analytical, precise, detail-focused.

Each of us is a unique blend of these four traits, usually with one factor being the most prominent. That is your primary style.

Understanding your own DISC style helps you recognise what drives you, how you respond under pressure, and how to adapt your approach when working with others.

This tool empowers you to understand your intrinsic motivators and stressors, enabling you to adapt your approach for more effective interactions.

Why DISC is so Useful

The DISC framework is used worldwide by leaders, managers, and teams to improve communication, collaboration, and performance.

It can help you:

  • Communicate more effectively with different personality types

  • Identify behavioural tendencies to help gauge productivity

  • Build trust and stronger working relationships

  • Understand what motivates others – and how to bring out their best

  • Manage conflict and difficult conversations more effectively

  • Lead teams with empathy and self-awareness

  • Uncover blind spots and areas for growth and development

Understanding DISC doesn’t just change how you lead – it changes how you connect, motivate, and communicate.

What is Included in a DISC Report?

Each report is a detailed personal guide – helping you understand your behavioural style, strengths, challenges, and how others may see you.

A typical Individual DISC Report includes:

  • Behavioural Characteristics - your natural and adapted work styles

  • Value to the Organisation - your unique strengths and contribution

  • Communication Tips - how to work best with others

  • Ideal Work Environment

  • Perceptions - how you see yourself and how others see you

  • Descriptors of your behaviour in all four DISC areas

  • Natural & Adapted Style - how your behaviour can change

  • Keys to Motivating

  • Keys to Managing

  • Areas for Improvement

  • Action Plan

  • Behavioural Hierarchy - your scores for 12 areas of behaviour

  • Style Insights Graphs - visualise your natural and adapted styles

  • Behavioural Continuum

  • Success Insights Wheel - a visual map of your unique style

Every report is completely personalised, based on a short online questionnaire that takes around 15 minutes to complete.

New managers struggle not because they are bad at managing - it’s because they have been badly prepared. Getting the right management training is essential for success in modern leadership.
