DISC Behavioural Assessments

Discover the power of DISC reports – a simple, proven framework that helps you understand how you and others think, communicate, and behave at work.

Whether you’re a new manager, an experienced leader, or part of a wider team, DISC gives you the insights you need to build stronger relationships, improve communication, and create more effective teams.

See some example DISC reports to understand exactly what they contain.

📩 You request DISC reports for yourself or for your team by contacting me. They work best as part of a training course, such as leadership or communication skills.

What is DISC?

DISC is a behavioural model that explains how people prefer to act and communicate.

It analyses patterns of communication, leadership, and teamwork preferences, represented by four colour profiles: Dominance (Red), Influence (Yellow), Steadiness (Green), and Compliance (Blue).

It is built from the work of psychologists William Moulton Marston and Carl Jung.

STEADINESS

CONCIENTIOUSNESS

  • DDominance – Direct, decisive, results-driven.

  • IInfluence – Outgoing, enthusiastic, persuasive.

  • SSteadiness – Patient, reliable, cooperative.

  • CConscientiousness – Analytical, precise, detail-focused.

Each of us is a unique blend of these four traits, usually with one factor being the most prominent. That is your primary style.

Understanding your own DISC style helps you recognise what drives you, how you respond under pressure, and how to adapt your approach when working with others.

This tool empowers you to understand your intrinsic motivators and stressors, enabling you to adapt your approach for more effective interactions.

Why DISC is so Useful

The DISC framework is used worldwide by leaders, managers, and teams to improve communication, collaboration, and performance.

It can help you:

  • Communicate more effectively with different personality types

  • Identify behavioural tendencies to help gauge productivity

  • Build trust and stronger working relationships

  • Understand what motivates others – and how to bring out their best

  • Manage conflict and difficult conversations more effectively

  • Lead teams with empathy and self-awareness

  • Uncover blind spots and areas for growth and development

Understanding DISC doesn’t just change how you lead – it changes how you connect, motivate, and communicate.

What is Included in a DISC Report?

Each report is a detailed personal guide – helping you understand your behavioural style, strengths, challenges, and how others may see you.

See some example DISC reports to view the full detail of what's inside.

A typical Individual DISC Report includes:

  • Behavioural Characteristics - your natural and adapted work styles

  • Value to the Organisation - your unique strengths and contribution

  • Communication Tips - how to work best with others

  • Ideal Work Environment

  • Perceptions - how you see yourself and how others see you

  • Descriptors of your behaviour in all four DISC areas

  • Natural & Adapted Style - how your behaviour can change

  • Keys to Motivating

  • Keys to Managing

  • Areas for Improvement

  • Action Plan

  • Behavioural Hierarchy - your scores for 12 areas of behaviour

  • Style Insights Graphs - visualise your natural and adapted styles

  • Behavioural Continuum

  • Success Insights Wheel - a visual map of your unique style

Every report is completely personalised, based on a short online questionnaire that takes around 15 minutes to complete.

Many of my courses, such as Leadership and Communication, include the basic model of DISC. Individual reports let you explore further.

Understanding Your DISC Report

A report is only valuable if you know how to read it.

So alongside your DISC profile you'll get a plain-English companion guide that walks you through your results, with reflection questions to help you apply them.

Plus it also includes an honest look at the common mistakes people make when interpreting DISC (it's a guide to behaviour, not a personality test or a predictor of success).

Types of DISC Reports with Examples

I offer a range of reports to suit different roles and situations.

  • Individual DISC Report (Most Popular)
Ideal for managers, team leaders, and professionals. Provides deep insight into your working style, communication preferences, and motivation.

  • Sales DISC Report
Tailored for sales professionals, focusing on building rapport, adapting to buyer styles, and improving influence.

  • Executive DISC Report
Designed for senior leaders, covering strategic leadership, decision-making, and delegation.

  • Team Behavioural Group Report
Brings together the profiles of your team to show how personalities interact. It highlights team strengths, gaps, and communication challenges – an invaluable tool for improving collaboration and understanding. This serves as a companion to individual DISC reports for your team.

DISC profiles can be added to any of my Leadership & Management, Communication Skills, or Sales & Customer Service courses to deepen participants’ self-awareness.

Alternatively, you can request a standalone DISC profile or arrange a team feedback session where we explore the group results together.
