Develop the Leadership Skills That Create Real Change
Give your managers two focused days of practical, in-house leadership and management training - built around your team, delivered at your workplace or live online, anywhere in the UK or internationally.
This is bespoke group training, not an off-the-shelf course.
Every session is tailored to your organisation's people, culture and real-world challenges, so the skills actually stick long after day two.
Whether you're developing first-time managers, sharpening experienced line managers, or building consistency across a whole leadership team, this course gives them the tools, confidence and structure to lead well.
The two-day format is what makes the difference.
There's time to practise, not just listen - to work through your team's genuine situations, run the difficult conversations properly, and leave with plans your managers will actually use.
Over two days, your managers will learn how to:
-
Lead with a clear, consistent style that fits their team
-
Communicate and influence with confidence at every level
-
Delegate effectively and develop their people
-
Motivate individuals and build genuine engagement
-
Manage performance fairly, including underperformance
-
Handle difficult conversations without avoiding them
-
Make better decisions and manage change and conflict
-
Apply a shared set of frameworks across the management team
You also receive 3 months of personal email support from me for any follow-up questions.
Why Leadership and Management Training Matters For Your Organisation
82% of managers are 'accidental managers' promoted into the role with no formal training.
Most managers are promoted for being good at their previous job, not for being trained to lead.
The cost shows up quietly: inconsistent management across teams, avoidable staff turnover, conflict left to escalate, and capable people disengaging.
Training your managers together changes that.
They learn the same frameworks at the same time, which means the improvement isn't one person's private knowledge - it becomes a shared language across your organisation.
What organisations typically gain:
-
Consistency - every manager working to the same standards and frameworks
-
Retention - people leave managers, not companies
-
Performance - clearer expectations, better feedback, fewer problems left to fester
-
Confidence - managers who stop avoiding the hard parts of the job

Meet Your Trainer
Mark Baglow
Hi, I'm Mark. When you book this course, you get me – not an associate, not a script read off a slide.
With in-house training, that matters more than it sounds: I deliver every session personally, so the person who scopes your training with you is the person standing in the room on the day.
I've spent fifteen years in the world of education, training and development. During my career I learned the thing that still shapes every course I run: people don't remember what you tell them, they remember what they do.
My training is practical, hands-on and refreshingly jargon-free – real tools you'll use on Monday morning, not dry theory you'll have forgotten by lunch.
I'm a certified DISC analyst, and I've designed and delivered leadership, management and communication training across sectors including education, software and financial services.
I'm based in Birmingham – right in the middle of the country – so I can reach you easily for in-person training anywhere in the UK, or even internationally! I also provide live online training if that suits you better - which is especially useful for remote or dispersed teams.
I keep my business deliberately personal: you deal with me directly, from first enquiry to post-course follow-up, and every session is built around your people and your real-world challenges.

Unlock Deeper Insights with DISC
Understanding personality types can transform the way you lead, communicate, and motivate others.
As part of your Leadership and Management Training, you’ll be introduced to the DISC model – a simple yet powerful tool for understanding behavioural preferences and communication styles.
Add optional individual DISC reports to this course for deeper personal insight - or use DISC across a whole team.
Who Is Leadership and Management Training For?
This course is designed for organisations developing a group of managers together - typically up to 12 people, though the format flexes.

Management teams - where you want consistency across everyone, not just individuals
-
New and Managers & Team Leaders – building confidence in managing people for the first time
-
Experienced Managers – looking to refine their leadership style and improve results

Aspiring Leaders – preparing for promotion or taking on greater responsibility
-
Growing organisations - where informal management is no longer enough.
-

This in-house leadership and management training helps turn capable employees into confident leaders – equipping them with the tools, mindset, and confidence to inspire and guide their teams effectively.
